Single mom of West Oakland Fire

My name is Ruby Smith. Since the tragic fire on Monday, March 26, 2017 I have been unable to provide for my children. Everything that I owned was destroyed. I am trying to keep my integrity by providing what I can from the limited resources I have received but it is not enough for me to start over. I am a single mom and my children's names are Imani 12 years old and Naimah is 5 years old. Imani attends Claremont Middle School in Oakland and Naimah attends Vincent Academy. Since that tragic day we have had to recycle our clothing and we only have one pair of shoes and they were donated to us. In addition when I am successful in securing housing I will have to come up with a deposit and first and last month's rent. Therefore I am asking for assistance from the greater community to help my family get back on track. You can help me and my family get back on track with our lives by donating any monetary amount that you see fit.
