Single Dad with 5 year old daughter

I am a single dad of a five year old daughter. On my way to work on Friday, July 21, my car lost acceleration and the engine caught on fire. I got to the shoulder of the highway, stopped the car and got out as quickly as I could. A few more seconds and I would have burned.

That car was my only transportation. I did not have full coverage on my car. I work roughly 50 miles from work so there is no chance that I can get a ride.

I tried to take a leave of absence from work until I could get a vehicle. They refused despite the fact that I have been with the company for over 6 years.

I'm basically in a situation where I can't support my daughter. I don't make much money and losing my job would be beyond disastrous.

I am trying to raise $1200 so I can at least buy a work vehicle and save my job.
