Single dad attacked in his home

Donation protected
My Uncle, Jack Mosley, was attacked today in his home.  He just recently moved to this area of Fremont and, like always, was just minding his business.  This monster threw a coffee cup into his window and hid.  When my Uncle bent down to pick up the coffee cup; this animal ambushed him from behind and tried to behead him with a machete.  He was successful in cutting into his head and eye and nearly severed his hand while he tried to defend himself.

My Uncle, at this time of fear and pain, wasn’t thinking of himself but of his disabled daughter, Elizabeth, who was in the bedroom.  He somehow got back into the house and laid in front of his door so the man wouldn’t get in to hurt her.

His daughter, Elizabeth, has Downs Syndrome and he is her only financial support.  His wife passed away in 2012; and it’s only him and his step-daughter that care for her.  It will be a very long recovery and he will need all the financial support he can get during this trying time.

Please; anyone that has ever met Jack Mosley knows that he is the most selfless and kind man out there.  This attack was completely unprovoked and, at this time, the perpetrator is still on the loose.   Prayers are needed.  He is currently in surgery that is expected to last the day.  We still have no idea of what lies ahead.

All funds raised are being sent to Ellen Hall, his sister, in order to be sure his short and long term needs are being taken care of.

Thank you.
