A cousin of mine in Fiji was born with thoraco- lumbar kyphosis and has now developed an outward curvature of her spine. As a result of this disease, she has had many issues sitting upright and maintaining proper postural positions. She's only 16 years old and is in desperate need of spinal surgery.
