Hello everyone it's Emily,
As most of you know i sadly lost my Dad this weekend who was my best friend. Everyone who knew us knew how much we loved each other. My Dad had been ill for a while and because of this when he turned 50 he invested in a life insurance plan to take care of me and his send off in case this happened. With my Dad passing at the young age of 51 this unfortunately means his life insurance is void as you have to have had it for two years which I'm sure he agreed to thinking he had a lot longer than he did.
This leaves me in a difficult situation as at 21 years old and my Dads next of kin trying to give him the funeral he deserves but not being able to afford it. I want to make sure everyone who loved him (a lot of bloody people!) have the chance to say goodbye as well as him having the funeral he truly deserves.
I have had a lot of messages from people asking to help me and my dad so i thought this would be the best way for anyone who would like to help to do so.
On another note, my Dad was 51, I am 21 which means i missed the first 30 years. If anyone has any stories or photos from when he was younger id love to see them and include them in the service. I want everyone who he loved to have an input in his special day.
I am eternally grateful for everyone's kind words, love and support and I'm sure my dad will be at peace knowing I am not doing this on my own.
