Simion Varvara's Funeral & Memorial

The story of a great husband and father. 19 years ago Simion Varvara had a heart attack at the age of 32 and had died until God had resucitated him at the hospital emergency room. It was a major heart attack and he was effected severely. He was only given 3-6 months to live and he had to take handfuls of medication to survive. He ended up going 5 years and 3 months with taking medication. On Sunday October 5th 2003, his son Jonathan Timothy Varvara came out from Sunday school with a project he made saying "Trust in the Lord with all your heart" from Proverbs 3:5. God had used His Word with this verse to impact him from then on. Simion decided to trust in the Lord with all of his heart and rely on the Power of the Living God to keep him alive. He started a few day fast and each morning God kept bringing him to His Word to read. Simion was strengthened day by day by the Word of God and ended up completely stopping the handfuls of medications he had to take. Since then, God has kept Simion Varvara alive 14 more years until He finally brought him home to be with Jesus Christ on October 4th 2017. Simion Varvara was the strongest man we've ever known and has left us such a great legacy. He always supported us as a husband and father and never complained of his condition even when we saw he was hurting. He was always so encouraging and was a tremendous blessing in our lives from the Lord. Words cannot even explain how wonderful this man was. He was looking forward to the arrival of his grandson Luca Simion Varvara and he was so happy he was a grandpa and  knew his son is going to have a baby boy to carry on his legacy. God has decided it was better to take our precious husband, father and grandpa to be at rest with him until we all reunite at the last day.
