Simbas FHO hip surgery

Simba is my service dog who has been trained with my own blood, sweat, and tears. I couldn't afford to buy a trained service dog. He is only 3 and a half years old. He has been one of the best dogs i have ever owned. We just learned he has hip dysplasia in both hips but the right hip is the worse one, it is almost dislocated. He will need both hips replaced but for now the right one needs it quickly. We are spending hundreds on glucosamine shots he needs twice a week and because of covid, we have not been able to work. The vet quoted us around $8000-$10000 a hip. We have decided to go with the FHO surgery which will drop the price down to $3000 a hip. We are just doing his right hip (the worst hip) right now and hopefully with the meds we wont have to do the left later. Only time will tell.
