SIMBA THE KITTEN NEEDS HELP
This is our baby, Simba. We took him in and bottle fed him since he was 3 weeks old, he really is our precious little baby.
Simba ran out to the front yard on Sunday Dec. 13th, and he never came home for dinner that night. For 6 days and nights we searched high and low, through thorn bushes, posting flyers, sharing his photo on neighborhood apps. We didn’t know if someone took him or if he just hopped into someone’s car because he is so trusting of people and very curious.
We tried everything to lure Simba back home in case he got lost, and I mean everything. So many people reached out and printed fliers for us and loaned us traps to catch him. Finally, on day 6, we received a phone call that Simba had been found meowing on someone’s doorstep. The family recognized him from a flier posted at 7-11. It was our Christmas miracle!
When we got home we noticed something was wrong right away. He was limping, almost wobbling, his legs look displaced, his spine was twisted and his tail was hanging. We think he may have been hit by a car, but we really don’t know what happened.
he has been eating well and sleeping since he’sbeen home, we have an appointment with a vet but because of the COVID outbreaks and lockdowns, we are extremely struggling financially.
This money will help us pay for his testing, vaccinations, X-rays, neutering and a microchip. Also if he needs any additional surgeries, treatments or therapies. Everyone has been so kindthroughout this entire process, I can’t begin to thank you all enough and whatever little bit you can donate will help us so much and we appreciate everything!
our 3 year old son is very happy to have his baby back, and our 8 year old chihuahua can’t wait for Simba to heal to play with him (we have to keep them separated and our Enzo is sooo upset by it).
it’s a blessing to have all our babies reunited and safe at home, this was one of the hardest experiences of my life and probably would have lost faith if it wasn’t for the outpouring of support from our neighbors and friends. If you can give, thank you so much, if you can’t, thank youfor your prayers
we love each and every one of you!
thank you for our most miraculous Christmas gift ❤️❤️
