My name is Sierra Heiny, and I make music under the name Sierra Annie. I am originally from a tiny town in Iowa with no stoplights. I have been writing my own music since I was ten years old, and finally relocated to Nashville, TN two years ago to chase my dream of becoming a professional singer/songwriter!
If you don't know me or my music already, my sound lands somewhere between punk, rock, and country. I have self-titled this genre, "Punktry," mostly because it's funny but partly because it's true and I don't always feel like I fit one specific genre. I am hoping to make a record that sounds like all of those things -- because they are me as an artist.
I made this gofundme because I have been busy writing music for my debut record, and I think I have it narrowed down to which five songs will make the cut. If I raised enough money to record these songs, I would ideally release an EP this upcoming summer. I am asking for your help to raise enough money to record this record. As you may know, recording can be very expensive if you want to achieve a professional sounding product. I want this record to be as close to perfect sounding as possible for all of you!
