Sian’s Stroke rehabilitation replacement meals
Donation protected
Hi my name is Tara, I am raising money for my 30 year old daughter who has had a major stroke on the 9th December '23. This stroke affected her whole left side and speech. Whilst she has made some recovery the doctors have said it will take upto 2 years for some things to recover and she will have some will affect her for life. with the initial funding we purchased a robotic glove, mirror therapy box and hand resting splint. This equipment which is not provided by the NHS helped her regain some movement in her left hand and prevent hand spasms. any additional funding now will pay for her replacement meals as she is currently malnourished and is awaiting an appointment with consultants, which could take months.
We want to get her fit and well again asap so she can play with her 3 children again.
If any additional money is raised I would like to treat her and her partner Ryan (who has been amazing) and kids to something special to cheer them all up.
If you are unable to donate financially, please call around for a chat as she needs new faces and conversation to support her speech therapy.
