Nursing Degree

Hello, my name is Tabitha and I am in my last quarter of nursing school before I graduate in December.(WOOHOO!) I am married and we have 4 amazing children ages 15, 10, 7, and 4. Little bit about my current situation. I recently had surgery on my back. I’m only 34! With that being said it put me out of work for a little bit so my husband has been our only source income. While it’s been tough with just that COVID came and added to our financial struggles. I have started this because I am required to pay for many different things prior to getting my license. The very first thing is my balance from Galen. They will not send my information to the KBN until my balance is paid in full. I did not qualify for any type of grants or students loans my last 3 quarters because I maxed out. My student loan debt I plan on paying on as soon as I am able to start working as a nurse. I have accepted a job at Norton’s Hospital and would like to start when I pass my board. I don’t like asking for help let alone money but my current situation leaves me with no other options but to suck up my Pride and ask. So here I am! The funds that I receive will help pay for the following things: Balance at Galen College of Nursing KBN application PLA application Jurisprudence Exam Pearson Vue-NCLEX Federal and State Background check Fingerprinting So here I am asking for help. I don’t want my finances being the cause of my not fulfilling my dreams of being a nurse. I have sacrificed so much since I started nursing school and can’t wait to give back doing what I’ve always dreamed of doing and that is becoming a nurse.
