SHRM-CP Certification

I am about to tell you all about something most people may not be comfortable discussing if they were in the same position as me; I was recently forced to leave my position due to harassment, hostility, and being treated terribly after working tirelessly for weeks on end to provide support for relief efforts for those effected by the current pandemic.  I am a proud person who can take on an amazing amount of challenges and hardships, but I decided I deserved better than the way I was being treated. I barely slept or had time for family, friends, or even my fiance for weeks on end, only to be treated like I was worthless and unappreciated by an executive member of my company, despite the constant praise and acknowledgement of my efforts by all of the coworkers who worked alongside me and all other officers in the organization. Unfortunately, there are people out there who will not be pleased no matter how hard you work or how much of yourself you pour into your job. I am unapologetic about deciding I deserved better and would no longer stand for the treatment I was receiving, so I have decided it is time to move on to better things.  I refuse to let this get me down and I am more than ready to bring my expertise to a company that appreciates and values employees like myself; professionals who are willing to lay it all out there and put in the effort to truly improve an organization and the people effected by their efforts. 

I am in dire need of completing my SHRM-CP certification in order to qualify for a multitude of positions I am actively pursuing. I have so many family members and friends who have seen me work hard while struggling to get by throughout the years. I am proud to say I kept my head up high and succeeded in accomplishing the goals I set for myself. I am asking for anything at all that will help me get this certification so I can continue reaching for my ultimate goal of becoming the head of HR for an aspiring and innovative organization. I am not one to reach out for any kind of financial assistance, but I know that if I am able to get this certification, I will have many more doors opened for me and I will be able to find my forever career in which I can continue providing the support and expertise needed to help my community. I will forever be thankful for any assistance I can get and I truly appreciate those who can understand where I'm coming from.
