Showing Love to The Love Train and it’s Conductors
Hey y’all it’s Nita. I am a 22 year old activist and the founder of Nita’s LoveTrain (@Nitaslovetrain on IG) I wanted to start this gofund me to get some love for me and my boyfriend Jaylan.
We don’t speak on the help we need because it’s hard. In May of last year we both became homeless due to a domestic violence situation with a roommate and it was tough because we had our own apartment and jobs.
As time progressed Jaylan moved in with his mom and I remained homeless. In October, his mom passed away and Jaylan was left her apartment. There was money owed on the rent, lights , gas, and internal things that needed to be fixed (ie: the ceilings, plumbing issues, etc)
In March we were finally building ourself back up and then COVID came. We lost our jobs and our only sources of income. We have been able to pay off the amount of rent owed and the bills owed with the help received here. Now we need essentials for ourselves and his son, and money to get by the next few weeks or months until we get a new job. A small amount goes a long way and a share goes an even longer way.
