THE CAUSE
Friday, January 17th our dear friend and family Tedric “T-Roc” Evangelista was officially diagnosed with Stage IV esophageal cancer. On Monday, January 27th he begins his fight with an aggressive series of chemotherapy treatments currently scheduled to last through mid March. The goal is to beat the odds and have T-Roc feeling back to himself again in time to watch his Kentucky Wildcats in the March Madness brackets.
This news has deeply affected our community. Tedric is a kind, loving, selfless man whose perfect smile could light up a whole stadium. He is a pilot instructor, lover of sports, talented karaoke singer, fearless uncle, devoted brother, cousin and loyal friend. He wears too many titles to list because he is always so incredibly giving of himself earning him a special place in the hearts of everyone lucky enough to know him. If you are reading this you are likely one of those people. Tedric is the person who ALWAYS SHOWS UP no questions asked, no excuses given. Let’s show up for him in a big way and give back to him all he has given to us. The goal is to raise money to help with medical costs, living expenses and any other expenses he may incur over the course of his treatment so he can focus solely on winning this battle.
