Show Support for PFSC Coaches During COVID

Dear community members,
Hello from a distance! We miss seeing everyone in person during this national health emergency. We hope you and your families are managing well during these difficult times.
The PFSC Board of Directors values each and every one of our members, which includes our coaches, whom we know are potentially the most impacted by the current rink closure and the uncertainty of these circumstances. This has been hard for everyone in the skating family, but it can be even harder if your livelihood depends on skating.
At our last virtual Board meeting, we brainstormed how we as a club could show our support for our coaches.
We decided to organize this GoFundMe page, so that interested community members can contribute funds to sustain our coaches during this time. Everyone can donate by name or anonymously, and it's also an opportunity to virtually connect with one another during this time.
We will evenly split the final raised amount between all non-junior coaches who were First Club Members of PFSC as of March 26, 2020.
We gave these coaches the choice to opt out should their circumstances allow them to decline these funds, and those who declined understand that their decision is binding.
We hope that this fundraiser reaches and exceeds our target! But no matter what, we will be thrilled if this will help our coaches even just a little bit. This is the least we can do to show them the love and support that they have shown our club members. And to kick things off, PFSC is donating $1000 to the fund.
