Shoulder To Shoulder with Gary Brady

On Sunday 28th Feb Gary was playing a game for his football club Port Kennedy. After putting in a big game he experienced shortness of breath. This led to him having a full Cardiac event and needing prolonged CPR from his teammates and the Paramedics on scene. After some hard work by the Paramedics a faint pulse was found and he was taken to Hospital where he received immediate emergency surgery on his heart. 

At this stage Gary is being kept in a medically induced coma to allow him the best chance of a full recovery. However due to the seriousness of the injuries and treatment time it is unknown the extent of his injuries or recovery time. 

At our club we are Teammates ,Friends & Family. Gary is a big part of that and should receive all the Love & Support that everyone reading this would hope and wish for if ever in this need.

This page has been created to help relieve the financial burden for his family while they support him and each other through this stressful time.  This is a time to focus on family and the rest of us can help take these other stresses away. 

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated by the family and all those who care for Gary.
