New Roof for Sholem Aleichem Cultural Center-NYC

GEVALD! No fiddling on our roof.....

After 61 years, The Sholem Aleichem Cultural Center in the Bronx needs a completely new roof. Our little building has uniqurely served the Yiddish cultural world; now we must turn to you for help.

We have never asked the community for funds before.

Now we have no choice.

The cost of a new roof will bankrupt our organization and put an end to our vital Yiddish programming. Our weekly conversation roundtables, lectures and performances, a Yiddish lending library, and our annual Klezfest which has launched new artists and honored icons of Yiddish culture.
