SHIRLEY'S TEETH AND CAR FUND!!!

Due to Shirley not being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease until she was older, she threw up for an 8 years period, which resulted in losing her upper teeth in 2010.  In a couple weeks she will have to get her 8 remaining bottom teeth pulled out and get lower dentures.  Due to the constant flare ups with this disease, the physical, emotional and spiritual roller coaster of being constantly sick, many surgeries, many trips to the hospital, she had to get on disability in 2010.  In addition, her car which she has owned for 12 years is on its last leg and she needs a “new to her” car. 

Watching Shirley struggle with this disease her whole life has been a very powerless, heartbreaking feeling and I wish I could take it all away.  She has been truly courageous in spite of being so sick. She has been a true friend to me and is always looking for ways to help others in her community through volunteering at senior’s bingo, Elioak Farm and helping the family. I am so proud of the person she is even when she has struggled through her depression. 

I am creating this GoFundMe page because not only does Shirley need bottom dentures which cost about $1,400, she also needs a car.  I would like to raise $5,000 or more to help her get back on her feet so that she could continue to volunteer, get outside herself and give back.  Please consider a donation to my wonderful sister, Shirley!!!
