Brittany France Aid for Ukraine - via Hent Ukraine
Hi everyone,
As you may know, Patty and I have been volunteering every day at a local organization here in Tregunc, France that is collecting clothing and such for Ukrainians. The day-to-day operations quickly yield what items we very much need. So, my hope is to collect just a little bit of money to help them out as much as I can.
Here is the basic gist; we just need a little bit of money. That's it. There are plenty of people here physically helping out and there are literally tons of stuff donated. The problem is we need to package all of the items and label them for the end-users. We just need money for packaging supplies and fuel.
Why fuel? This effort includes another whole set of volunteers that are driving to Poland or other locations to drop of the supplies THEN bring back Ukrainians that would like to come to France. So, the campers, vans, and other vehicles need fuel for these long runs.
We currently need basic things but in large quantities.
- Large thick and strong plastic bags
- Boxes of various sizes
- Packing tape
- Duct tape
- Tie wraps
- Permanent markers
- Fuel money
Like I said, we are not asking a lot and it is very basic materials. The people here continue to donate tons of their clothes and many donate their time. They just do have a lot of money to donate as well. So, it would be great if you could chip in even the smallest amount. Every dollar helps.
