Shine for Sophie
Spende geschützt
On July 21, 2018, our daughter Sophia Matacale was hit by a car, crossing Seabreeze Blvd. in Daytona Beach, Fl. She suffered extensive injuries. She has a traumatic brain injury with skull fracture, a fractured scapula, two broken ribs, two fractures in her sacrum, bilateral fractures of her pelvis and her ACL and MCL in her knee are severed. Sophie was a very active young lady who held two jobs and worked six days a week. She was a photographer for Daytona Beach Parasail, and a waitress/bartender for Hidden Treasure restaurant in Ponce Inlet. She has been released from the Hospital, and has moved back home for her recovery. She still faces surgery for her knee injuries. Her Doctor says she's very lucky to be alive! Her recovery period will last through the end of the year. Unfortunately, her bills still need to be paid. We are very thankful to have her home with us, and thank everyone who is willing to help our girl. Estes and Katie Johnson
