Shine for Bonnie

On Monday, October 23, Bonnie was in a terrible bicycle accident in rural Meadow, UT. She sustained multiple facial fractures, shattered portions of her upper and lower jaw, and lost several teeth. She underwent emergency surgery on Monday afternoon at Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, UT. She will have a lengthy recovery and will require more surgeries over the course of the next year.
Bonnie is a single mother of 7 children, 5 of whom still live at home. She works full time to meet their needs, and is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in education.
Anyone who knows Bonnie has had the joy of basking in her light. She has been a grounding force, a sound ear, a woman of wise words and stunning compassion. She has been a rock of stability and has flowed like water through so many storms. She is a survivor, but she is not one to ask for help, so we are asking for help on her behalf.
As she lives in such a rural area, she will need to travel a large distance over the next year for multiple doctor visits and surgeries. She will miss a fair amount of work during this initial recovery and intermittently over time. The cost of medical bills, travel and missed work will be an incredible financial hardship for Bonnie and her children.
