Sherry Niester Innis Fight for Life

How can things go so wrong? What started out as cancer surgery (to remove the cancer and a lobe from a lung) has turned into a family nightmare. Instead of coming home after a week of recovery, our sister, Sherry, has been in ICU for two months from post op complications and severe lung damage. She is still on a mechanical ventilator, has lost most of her muscle mass and is clinging to life.

As the new year begins, so do insurance deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses; not to mention day to day living expenses. Sherry's husband, Roger, has been by Sherry's side throughout, unable to collect a paycheck from work, and he has to be back to work before the end of January in order to keep his job.

We've seen God answer prayers, but we're still hoping for a miracle! If Sherry can survive her respiratory disease, she faces a long and difficult road of rehabilitation and therapy.
