Still Fighting!

My brothers, sister, and I were taught a lot as children. Life lessons that I'm sure most parents work to instill in their children. We were taught honesty and integrity. We were taught self sufficiency and independence. We were taught compassion and empathy. We were taught to ask for help when we needed it, though it pains our stubborn characters. We were taught these lessons by the greatest parents any child could ask for. Well, those parents are in need of help. My mother was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in May of last year. She fights against pain every single day and has been unable to work. She is progressively getting worse, but refuses to stop fighting. She recently switched doctors, and has recently decided to visit the American Cancer Center in Atlanta, where they have a specialist in her particular cancer. We're very optimistic about her treatment plan, however, with her being unable to work, the bills are outweighing the income. My father is on disability and spends his time caring for my mother. With this new specialist, we now have to take into account travel and hotel stays. We're beseeching our friends, family, and compassionate strangers who happen upon this page...please help however you can. Please help my family continue to build their hope that this specialist is the answer to our prayers. Please help us keep faith and fight this debilitating cancer.
