Shelter puppies fighting parvo

Update : Carly is spayed now and recovering well in her foster home. Cassie and Angie are in their forever homes, as are all of Blue's siblings. We are forever grateful to everyone who helped our pups get the treatment and find their forever.

Update : Angela's pups are now in parvo treatment, after Carly tested positive, one week after testing negative. They are at our primary vet during the day, while their foster mom is treating them after returning home from work. We have some of the best foster parents in our team, who care so much for these pups.

Right now, we have Isabel's five puppies and Angela's 2 puppies at our vet with anemia, and hookworm that they are still fighting. All seven tested negative for parvo and will get their dhpp booster end of this week. But we will need to continue treating them for their anemia, and do a second round of cbc in two weeks to make sure their blood count is coming back to normal. Vergi will send Blue and Pinkie's final bill and we will share it here. Thank you so much for continuing to stand by us during this extremely difficult time.

Blue, the sweet black puppy of Mama Isabel (who was euthanized at the shelter for being protective of her pups) broke parvo from stress after receiving dapp at a much younger age, than what we were told. He was admitted to Vergi on 11/22 and stabilized, and was sent to Parvo recovery clinic as it is cost effective. However, today, 11/26 his blood glucose level dropped to 57 after his IV was removed, and he had to be brought back to Vergi, where he is getting an aggressive treatment. The cost is over $6000 and Vergi will need ALL of that to continue treating him.
