Shelly’s Cut & Style

Hello everyone. My mother, local business owner Shelly Wojcik of Shelly's Cut and Style in Cohoes has suffered the destruction of a structure fire in the apartments above her business resulting in thousands of dollars of water damage to the floors below.

My mom grew up in Cohoes and is well known to those in the community as a kind, generous individual. She has been helping victims of fires for years now, and she consistently donates to locals in need. While emergency responders diffused the fire, customers and peers helped and ran inside to retrieve what they could in the little time they had. My mom also made it a point to grab a fire relief kit from her donation pile for one of the residents from the fire. In a time of complete disarray, my mom still had other peoples best interest in mind.

With all said, we are raising donations to help Shelly's Cut and Style with funding for any repairs or necessary expenses caused by the event. Any help is appreciated as we support one of our local businesses through these hard times.
