Shelly Long Family
Donation protected
Shelly Long lost her indoor arena and half her stall barn in a wind storm the night of Sept 24. Both structures are a total loss.
Stall horses will have to go elsewhere, pastures are full of debris, round pens and fences are flattened. So much has to be replaced before winter comes.
Shelly also needs a temp structure to protect her tractor and other farm equipment while she rebuilds, as well as a way to store hay for the pasture horses.
Shelly has been leasing ponies to kids for years and years. She makes it possible for city kids to join 4H, learn horsemanship, and keep our industry growing. She's never tried to profit with horses, only to share her love of them with others.
We horse people are family. We've all been touched by disaster or misfortune. We know what loss feels like, as well as winning.
If each horse person who knows the Longs can give even $20, we can get this family and their farm back on its feet before the snow comes.
Thanks for your support!
