Sheldon's Fight for Life

Anyone who knows my brother Sheldon Longhurst, knows what a hard working, giving, selfless man he is.  After recently becoming ill, he and his family are devistated that he has been diagnosed with Leukemia(AML) and will be in the hospital for some time, fighting for his life. 

He is currently in the Pocatello hospital receiving chemotherapy treatment and blood transfusions. His busy, growing family (first grandbaby pictured, another on the way, and a son to be married in a couple of days) travel to be by his side when they can. His sweet hardworking wife is commuting back and forth between the hospital, home, her job, work on the family farm and keeping up with their children's activities.

I know Sheldon and Candy would never ask for help, but this is the least I can do, since I can't physically be there to help. It is my hope that your donations can help relieve some of the stress that this trial may financially burden them with. 

Prayers are needed for this amazing family!

He is such a good man, he is probably one of the hardest working people I know, always helping others!
Sheldon has been even more than a brother to me, as he became guardian of my younger brother and I after our parents passed away. He and his sweet wife took on the responsibility of caring for us younger siblings while raising their own young family. I am forever grateful to them! He is the one whom my husband asked for my hand in marriage, and his wonderful wife tended my first born, with no pay, as I worked while my husband was in school.
It hurts to be so far away at this time. We are praying for a full recovery! Isn't their grandbaby the cutest! It reminds me so much of a picture of my mom (sick with cancer) holding Sheldon's baby boy.
