I've had epilepsy since I was 14 and for years it was fairly well controlled by medication on its own.
I was seizure free with medication for 8 years but in February 2017 I started having seizures and it was decided medication by itself would no longer suffice as treatment.
After going back into the hospital for testing and monitoring the doctors and I decided I would move onto more invasive monitoring and the path toward possible brain surgery.
I am doing this fundraiser to raise awareness for Epilepsy and the funds will be donated to the Epilepsy Association of Western New York, NOT to myself.
I have to shave my head for this and will be doing that on March 19 in Buffalo, NY. I am looking for monetary donations as well as PEOPLE TO SHAVE WITH ME! And based on that people will get votes towards which wig I choose as incentive.
