Shaya's Medical Fund

Well we have had a pretty busy month with a new Oncologist in Vancouver and more tests.  Shaya has undergone a cat scan and a petscan to see if she was still in remission.  Unfortunately, the scans came back with bad news this trip.  On November 6, Shaya and I were told that her cancer has come back.  Imagine the heartbreak in having to tell our family and friends of this!
They will be doing another biopsy on her neck to make sure it is still in the early stages and has not progressed.  With this being said, she has been told that she will need a stronger chemo and stem cell transplant depending on biopsy results.  
The Dr said that it is good she is not working and that she may will have to quit school once she starts treatment, until she is better. 
Her first triumph is to see a fertility clinic and to have some of her eggs removed if she wants children in the future.  This is a very expensive procedure.  She will need to do this right away so they can start her chemo as soon as possible.
We are hoping to raise enough money that she and her family can get through this and not have to worry about bills and can focus on getting Shaya healthy again. Eventually she will need an escort to travel with her and medical does not pay much for hotels for food.
