Shawn Penney Homegoing

Dear Family and Friends

Our beloved Shawn recently passed on 10/3. Shawn was a wonderful brother, father, and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his children and a host of family and friends.

Shawn dedicated his life to the Portland community. Shawn deeply valued the work he did with the Good in the Hood organization. Former president of the Good in the Hood, he encouraged social change within the community. If we exceed our goal, we will donate any additional funds to his children.

We are all devastated by Shawn’s loss, and we were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Shawn the memorial he deserves, honor his memory, and say our last goodbyes.

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Shawn’s funeral. Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time.
