Dear Friends and Family,

It pains me be in this position and ask for handouts, but I am faced with losing my home. Many of you have asked how you can help after my husband of 17+ years has committed suicide and left me with insurmountable bills and a mortgage I cannot cover with my income.  In the past year I have lost two very well-paying jobs and am now working as an Activity Director for an Assisted Living and Memory Care community.  While this position is incredibly rewarding, and perfect for me, it doesn’t cover my mortgage.  I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and if I am forced out of my home, I am still looking at rental payments similar to my mortgage.  If you know me and Shawn very well, you know we have a very small and humble home, I do not live extravagantly.  I am needing over $100,000 to refinance my home and get into a manageable monthly payment.  I do have some assets and a small piece of property that I will be selling off, but they will not add up to enough funds for me to pay down my debt to a manageable monthly payment.  Any amount will help.  Thank you so very much for your love and support.
