Shawn was involved in a car accident November 22nd on his way to coaching the Ripley Wolves in Elora.
He was air lifted to Hamilton General Hospital where he has been in the Spinal Trauma unit since.
He underwent surgery on his neck and spine December 1st.
Shawn will have a long road to recovery ahead with several weeks of rehabilitation, and therefore will incur many expenses and be off work for quite some time.
The Ripley Wolves, Kincardine Bulldogs and Kincardine Minor Hockey Association will be fundraising Saturday December 21st at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine for Shawn. Ripley Wolves play at 5:00pm with the Kincardine Bulldogs to follow at 7:30pm. Shawn is an assistant coach for the Ripley Wolves and has spent many years involved with the Kincardine Bulldogs and KMHA.
If you are unable to attend on Saturday December 21st we appreciate your donations here. If there are excess funds that Shawn no longer needs, all will be donated back to a charity of Shawn's choice.
