Shawn Needs a New Heart

Shawn is 24 and has been diagnosed with severe heart failure. He recently under went open heart surgery to have a heart pump installed. It will assist his heart to get better so he can be strong enough for transplant. We have to stay in Jacksonville, FL at the Mayo Clinic until he recovers. He graduated from Georgia Southern in 2016 with a B.S. in IT. He started working at Chicken of the Sea right after graduation. He was only there for 2 months when he was diagnosed. He went from being active young man to a young man in the hospital in months. He has his good days and bad days. He is part of a fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. He is smart, friendly, kind and silly. He is a good friend and a great son. Thank you.
