Shawn and Murphy's Law

First, we want to thank you for simply taking the time to read this message.  We are more than understanding of the current environment and the impact it has had on so many lives, in so many ways. It is in times like these that generosity, empathy and overall love for one another, make the biggest impact. 


WHO:  Shawn Weiland 

Why:  The year 2020 has been chaotic for all, to say the least!   Shawn has unfortunately experienced one version of "Murphy's Law" unfold over the last 6 months: "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong".  Due to COVID-19, his entrepreneurial business in the Ticket Sales Market (buy/sell concerts etc.), caused him severe financial burden.  With shows cancelling around the world almost instantly, the providers were forced to debit his hard-earned money.  Next, COVID-19 forced restaurant closures, resulting in the loss of Shawn's second job as a bartender and his primary source of income.

This past week, his place of residence was completely destroyed by a fire. Luckily, no one was harmed, but this has left him without any of his belongings as the home, his personal belongings, and much of his business equipment were lost. Unfortunately, he did NOT have renter's insurance and will be rebuilding much "from the ground up".
