Shaving our heads for Mum

On the 9th Nov 2017 our lives were turned upside down again when we found out our Mother (Leanne) was Diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Not long before this our Aunty (mum's sister) had just finished her battle with Breast Cancer as well. Mum had a Double Mastectomy on the 22nd Nov to remove the Cancerous Lumps and Lymph nodes. She has since started Chemotherapy to prevent the chance of the Cancer returning which will be followed by Raduim.
To raise funds my Brother and I are shaving our heads. Beau has already shaved his head and I will be doing mine hopefully before the end of the month. For me this a pretty big deal as I have been growing my hair for 7 years now. I will posting before and after photos to keep everyone updated as well.
But our plan is to donate half to the Cancer Council and give the other half to Mum for her surgery and medical bills. We still have a long journey ahead of us and we both want to support our Mother as much as possible. My Brother and I have always raised funds for the Cancer Council since the passing of our Father and this time we figured we would help Mum out as well as still donating money to Cancer Research.
Please keep in mind that this is a complete surprise for Mum and we are wanting to keep it that way until I shave my head. So we are asking that no one mentions it to Mum if they see her. It would mean a lot if it remained a surprise as I really want to see her face when she see's me without all of my hair.
I also wanted to just clear up that I am not doing the World's Greatest Shave as I wanted the money raised to go to a different Foundation. This way half of the money can be given to Mum as well. And I honestly didn't want to make it such a big deal by going through the Greatest Shave website.
We are very greatful for everyone's support and any little donation means a lot.
