I'm changing this front page portion of our story to reflect some changes in the 11 months this fundraiser has been going.
Currently, due to some major health problems my partner and I have to move. We live in Seattle and our lease ends in 6 months. We need to save a lot of money to pay for:
Movers
New bed (the bed we have is so old it is exacerbating my partner's mobility problems)
First and last
Some cushion so this move won't be financially devastating.
We really just need a chance to get ahead in a way that is substantial enough that, setbacks like both of us being quite ill and ER visits don't devestate us financially.
