Shane McIntyre passed and wife, 5 kids need help

Donation protected
Shane McIntyre is missing and presumed deceased after a boating accident on the Kuskokwim River near Bethel, Alaska, on August 30, 2022. He has left behind his wife, Melanie, and five children, Shawn (15), Rylee (12), Ari (7), Celeste (4), and Nash (2). This tragic event has forever changed the family's life and broken the hearts of Shane's parents, Karen and Greg McIntyre, and Donald Karels.

Shane was a devoted father and husband who had been with Melanie since they were 18, spending 22 years together. He loved hunting and fishing, spending time with his family, and was known for being a talented mechanic. Shane worked for the Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation as a Remote Maintenance Worker for 15 years. His co-workers and supervisors were impressed with his willingness to get challenging projects done, and he recently passed the certification to be a Water Treatment Plant Operator.

Please help Melanie and her five children with the new reality of losing their husband and father. It will be a difficult transition to the next stage of their life, and your help, however much, would be a huge lift for their unfortunate circumstance.
