On Tuesday, March 29th, our dear friends Brad and Brenda Black lost their precious and beautiful daughter Shalese after a long and painful battle with depression.
Shalese was a sweet, tender and talented young woman who was lost too soon. As a senior in high school, she maintained perfect grades, served in the church and the community and gave of her talents to care for the elderly. She had close friends who loved spending time with her. She also shared her musical talents with us often. She was particularly known for her sweet, sensitive nature and kindness to others. We are all so heartbroken at her loss.
Brad and Brenda are wonderful parents and neighbors. Brad volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and the youth group at church, and Brenda shares her musical talent with church members as the organist and has also served the church’s youth sports programs. They have given of their time, talents and energies to serve their neighbors and to provide a loving and happy home for their children.
Now, Brad and Brenda are burdened with grieving the loss of their daughter and also facing the costs of her memorial.
Please donate today and help us share their burden. Join us in “comforting those who stand in need of comfort” by lightening the financial impact of her memorial. It is our hope that through this campaign we will not only provide financial help, but also that we will raise awareness about depression and provide opportunities for other youth to come forward and get the help they need. We love our youth, and too many struggle alone!
