My name is Buddy Bonollo, I am a co-worker and most importantly a friend. This Go Fund Me account is to help support our Brother in Blue and his family as they go through this tragic loss. Jennifer, our hearts ache along with yours and our prayers are with you and your family as you navigate the road ahead.
A wonderful husband, father, son, brother, friend and police officer was taken away on February 18, 2021 as a result of an off-duty car crash in Lee County Florida. Jeff Reidy was only 41 years old and leaves behind his wife Jennifer and his four children Gavin, Rylin, Emma, and Charlie.
Sergeant Jeffrey Reidy began his career with the Naples Police Department on January 18, 2011. Over the course of time, he worked as a patrol officer, D.A.R.E Instructor, Field Training Officer, DUI Instructor, and a High Liability Instructor until transferring to the Criminal Investigations Unit as a Special Victim Crimes and Domestic Violence Detective in 2015. Jeff was promoted to Sergeant in 2019.
Jeff missed out on many holidays, birthdays, and family milestones due to his schedule as a police officer serving the community and agency he cared so much for. I am asking for us to give back to his family as they deserve nothing but the best!
