Hello family and friends! I have some amazing news! I have been given the incredible educational opportunity to sing the role of Lauretta in Puccini's opera Gianni Schicchi at the summer program Oberlin in Italy!! It is a month-long program in Arezzo, Italy from July 7th to August 7th. At this program, I will get to work with world-renown Opera performers and faculty! I will be taking 15 hours of Italian language courses each week and get to test them out on the streets of Italy! On top of this, I will be getting voice lessons, voice coachings, and participating in masterclasses that focus on audition techniques, character development, professional preparation, Italian diction, and much more!
I would like to sing a song for you in exchange for your help and support. To anyone who donates, I will upload a video of me singing a song of your choice and dedicate it to you! (As long as it's appropriate for my vocal range/ abilities). Or I will even write a short song just for you, if requested! Please help send me to Italy to learn and enjoy the views this summer! ANY amount is extremely helpful and will be appreciated more than you know! The funding goal will cover the cost of the program and my plane ticket! Thank you so, so much for helping me follow my dreams!
