Meet Luna our 6 years old Siberian Husky. Luna is not a dog, not a pet, she's our eldest daughter!
When me and Bonnie got married, we had tons of hopes and dreams for our future, new city, new life, a house, a car, 3 kids.... the American dream! But 5 months into our marriage all of our dreams had to be tossed in the trash as Bonnie got diagnosed with Leukemia.
None of our plan were remotely possible to achieve due to the situation, so we decided to go with the flow and live life day by day. After years of pain and suffering we received the news that we were never be able to have kids. That was the cherry on the cake! As you can imagine, we were destroyed and hopeless about making our "new" life a "normal life"... I decided to do something for Bonnie, to ease at least a little the pain and loneliness, I got LUNA!

Luna has been Bonnie's companion of hundreds of adventures, Luna has comforted Bonnie's painful days, lonely days (while I was at work), and learned so many "tricks" to help Bonnie in her daily chores, picking up things that would fall on the ground and Bonnie couldn't reach, etc.....

Even thought we've been thru emotional, financial and physical hardship, LUNA has always been there by our side like a daughter we never had and never will!

Today we received the news that an infection is attacking her body and it is so bad that she either gets a surgery done NOW or we have to put her to sleep! Honestly I don't want to give up, WE WON'T GIVE UP on LUNA!!!! She's been there and "saved" Bonnie's life when she needed her the most, We want to give LUNA one more chance to live....

This Surgery costs $3000, plus all the extra visits and costs coming up right after. I don't like having to resort to this, but it caught us by surprise as we were told all this a few hours ago. Anything would help, and if you can't don't worry a prayer will suffice and we are thankful you took the time to read our story.
