To all the caring friends & fans of the fabulous Nancy Stoudt, 

If you have come to this page then you have likely heard of the latest news.  Nancy is facing yet another chapter in the story of her health challenges with cancer.  This page is being set up as a practical solution for the many expressions of concerns and desire to help. 

After discussing with Principal Harlan, we agreed that setting this page up would be the simplest solution at this point.  Nancy was very reluctant and hesitant in accepting this, but we pleaded with her to provide us with an opportunity to support her.  She finally agreed with sincere humility.  These funds will be used by Nancy and Kenny to support them for this newest challenge;  whether it is for medical bills, household expenses or saving themselves a night of cooking dinner.  

Many students and parents over the years have been fortunate enough to experience the magic of Mrs. Stoudt's classroom.  Simply stated, she raises the bar just by entering the room.  Nancy elevates everyone around her to be the best version of themselves.   She creates a culture in her classroom that extends beyond a love of learning for her students.  Her wisdom and devotion to her students are priceless, with a ripple effect that carries them for years.   She is remarkable as a teacher & person, relentless as a fighter who will NOT give in to cancer, and cherished by so many. 

Nancy Stoudt is greatly admired by countless students and colleagues.  As parents, our appreciation for her cannot be measured.  SFE and CRSD have been blessed to have her as one of their own for over 30 years.  

A brief medical summary of the last few years:
  °July 2017 hysterectomy
  ° August - pancreatic cancer diagnosis, chemotherapy treatments began
  ° October - anticipated surgery delayed,  radiation treatments began
  ° November & December  - chemotherapy restarted, continued radiation
  ° February 2018- major abdominal surgery
  ° April - chemotherapy restarted for another 6 (very difficult) months
  ° October - remission declared
  ° April 2019 lung metastasis discovered, surgery in May to remove
  ° July - lost her beloved mother 
  °  October- appeared to be in remission with close monitoring
  ° January 2020- pancreatic cancer metastasis found in lung again, surgery and fluid drained, chemotherapy to begin, again...
