SF Loses A Leg, Gains A Forever Home

Jason and I are proud to co-nurture a neighboring cat community of feral kitties with Adair and the fabulous folks at Pawd Pipers. (They are great people who do amazing work!)
One of these pretty kitties we're really attached to, SurpriseFace, is injured. After noticing him limping a couple of weeks ago, we took him in to see the vet. Despite being young and in good health otherwise, he has suffered some trauma at some point (probably got hit by a car), which tore his ACL and damaged (and ultimately destroyed) his meniscus, for which he'll need an amputation. Surgery is set for this Wednesday, August 9th, but he has already become a beautiful addition to our household and family. He's love-love-loving being an inside kitty!
