Severely Injured Police Officer Needs Some Help

In early April 2022, a colleague, friend, and fellow police officer was severely injured in a terrorist attack by an IED in Pattani, Thailand. As a result of the explosion, the officer lost his left hand and suffered extensive damage to both of his eyes. Although the doctors are unsure if he will regain any use of his eyes, we are hopeful that he will recover from his injuries.

Being a police officer means putting the safety and security of others ahead of your own, however, this officer supports a wife, two young children, and a mother. On top of being a public servant, he is truly a good man with an open heart and a kind soul. This devastating injury will permanently impact his life and that of his family.

While we are praying for his recovery, we also realize it will be a long process and hope that we can ease the burden this life-threatening injury has inflicted on him. For privacy reasons, I have limited the amount of information about the incident and the officers’ details, however, if you know me, you know that I do not make such requests often or lightly.
