Service for William (Byrd) Sego

William, age 67, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep last night. William (Byrd) was loved by so many and left a smile on the faces of everyone he met. He loved playing football with his pit bull (Pie), playing his guitar, taunting and teasing his children and grandchildren. He loved his family with all of his heart. His silly personality and smirk lit up the darkest rooms. William spent his life dedicated to his wife of nearly 50 years, (Velda), children, (Bobbie Jo, Herbert, Varonica and LaRain) and grandchildren. Some of us called him “Papa”, some “Daddy”, “brother” or “uncle” some of us knew him as “Byrd” or “William” and some of you may have never met him. Regardless of if or how you knew him his soul left a mark on this world. As we come together as a family in this time of grieving we ask that you help out in anyway that you can. I know it is the holiday season and understand that money is tight but even the smallest of donations will help with service arrangements and will be immensely appreciated from all of us in the Sego family. Services for William will be on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 12pm-7pm at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel on S Dort Highway in Flint, MI. We thank you in advance and wish you all Happy Holidays.
