Prayers For Mitch Serpas
Donation protected
My sweet sister and brother in law have been through quite a year and half. Benjamin and Willow, the twins, were born 10 weeks early and Benjamin has suffered from Hirschsprung’s Disease and has had 7 surgeries so far. We have all been praying endlessly for his complete healing, and in the meantime he has had the best mom and dad who have taken tremendous care of him! In this mist of taking care of the babies and Mitch trying to take care of work and providing, he has ignored a pain in his neck for months.
It has all happened so quickly, but Mitch has been diagnosed with Medullary Thyroid Cancer. Of the Thyroid Cancers, this is a pretty rare one, only 25% of thyroid cancer is medullary.
Chavanne and Mitch have met with a surgeon to discuss asurgery to remove Mitch’s thyroid and clusters of lymph nodes on both the left and right side of his neck.
I am asking for your help for this sweet family who has been through so much already, and now has an even tougher road up ahead. They are strong and full of faith, but can use your prayers!
Any donations would go towards any scans and treatments not covered by insurance, all medical expenses, parking at the hospital, food at the hospital and helping to cover things around the house and yard that Mitch will no longer be able to physically do during treatment and recovery.
Your prayers and consideration are greatly appreciated!!
