Serena's Medical Funds
I'm here to tell you about my sister, Serena.
It's Gaelin here - the youngest of the "4 White Girls" and potentially, the tallest. I'm typing this GoFundMe to ask for your help & support for my sister, Serena.
Serena has been fighting Myofibrosarcoma, a rare & aggressive cancer doctors are still learning about, for the past 8 years.
A year after removing the primary growth from her arm, scans showed that the cancer had moved to each of her lungs. Stage IV cancer was no match for her courageous and humble heart as she endured numerous scans and two separate lung surgeries while balancing motherhood and being a wife. Not once did she share with us the pain in her recovery or emotional exhaustion.
Last summer, a growth was removed from Serena's leg that was confirmed to be the same cancer. Soon after, scans showed new growths in one of her lungs.
Serena is currently undergoing a chemotherapy treatment that doctors hope will fight the cancerous cells in her body while Stephen, her husband, works full-time to provide for their two boys & pay for her medical bills.
I'm here to ask for your support for Serena, Stephen and their two sons, Elijah (3) and Stephen (1). Donations of any kind are greatly appreciated and all are welcome to join us in flooding heaven with prayers for peace and healing for Serena.
