Senti-mental in Remembrance of Sydney Griffith

Donation protected
In order to honor Sydney's memory, we would like to help underprivileged children have improved access to mental health. We believe this is a passion of hers because Sydney had written the following proposal for a school assignment this year:

"Senti-Mental is a service for the good of the general public. Our dedicated team is made up of passionate volunteers and professional, highly educated mental health providers who are always willing to put forth the time and effort to ensure that our audience is receiving the most accurate and beneficial information regarding mental health and those who struggle with it.

My project is in the business of educating, plain and simple. Our goal is to make as many people aware of the updated and most essential mental health information, with special care towards breaking the stigma surrounding this previously taboo topic. As many know, nonprofits tend to need good-hearted philanthropists to make their goal possible, and Senti-Mental is no exception. Considering that the science of mental health is at an all time high and today’s youth is increasingly aware, but not properly educated, about mental health issues through the media, I would argue that my project is one of the more prominent education-based nonprofits that needs funding.

The maximum potential of my project will be reached through individual presentations and eventually an online platform. The cost for this project should be minimal, considering it is comprised of volunteers. The presentations would be done with the classroom equipment that is already there, the only foreseeable costs are for recording equipment, website design, and possibly social media advertisement once the project reaches that level."

Funds raised by this GoFundMe fundraiser will be used to help children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders  who have been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic. All funds raised will be donated to the  Childmind Institute.
