Hola, mi nombre es Tomas y tengo 11 años. Llegue a USA (Houston, TX) hace 3 anos en busca de una vida mejor con mi mama, mi papa, mi hermanita Sara y mi hermanito Mateo. He tenido la bendición de seguir mis estudios y aprender inglés mientras seguimos en trámites de inmigración, pero hace una semana me diagnosticaron una hernia inguinal que tiene que ser removida lo más pronto posible para minimizar mi dolor (me duele muuuuucho!). Obviamente no puedo hacer actividades o esfuerzo en mi día a día (incluyendo jugar con mis hermanitos y primos).
La cirugía lamentablemente no está siendo cubierta por nuestro seguro internacional y necesito de tu ayuda para poder ayudar a mis papas a soportar este golpe que ninguno se estaba esperando. La operación será el martes 12/8 en el Children Hospital (con restricciones de covid todo está muy difícil) y cuesta aproximadamente $16,000.

Hello, my name is Tomas and I am 11 years old. I came to the USA (Houston, TX) 3 years ago in search of a better life with my mother, my father, my little sister Sara and my little brother Mateo. I have been blessed to continue my studies and learn English while we are still in immigration procedures, but a week ago I was diagnosed with an inguinal hernia that has to be removed as soon as possible to minimize my pain (it hurts soooooooo much!). Obviously I cannot do activities or effort in my day to day (including playing with my little brothers and cousins).
Unfortunately, the surgery is not being covered by our international insurance and I need your help to be able to help my parents to endure this blow that no one was expecting. The operation will be on Tuesday 12/8 at the Children Hospital (with covid restrictions, everything is very difficult) and the costs is approximately $ 16,000.
