We are deeply saddened to report the passing of Sensei Robert L. Fusaro 9th Dan on Saturday, June 29, 2019. He will be truly missed by all of us. Reflect back when Sensei Fusaro has helped you and thousands of other students in the art of Shotokan karate in the Midwest, across the US and worldwide. He developed and trained hundreds of black belts like you over his lifetime. Many of you became national and international competitors and champions, and/or competition judges; you may have become sensei of your own club; officers of the Traditional Karate North Central Region organization; and/or a senior member of your club that helped elevate other students to improve their skills and eventually becoming a black belt as well.
With that said, it is your turn to give back through this memorial fundraiser by helping his wife Gloria Fusaro. Sensei lived a modest lifestyle and devoted many long hours to karate that most people cannot imagine.
My challenge to you is let's meet or exceed the GoFundMe goal listed here. Dig deep into your pockets to help Sensei's wife Gloria with her upcoming funeral expenses and other unplanned expenses.
If you are unable to use the GoFundMe process but wish to donate cash or a check, make the check payable to "Gloria Fusaro" and mail the donation to: MKA St. Paul, 762 East 7th St, St Paul, MN 55106.
A celebration of life memorial service is planned for Saturday Sept 7, 2019 – more details to follow.
Thank you. Traditional Karate North Central Region
